Sara & Matt's Traditions at the Glen Wedding | Binghamton Wedding Photography
It's been a while! This past season has been so busy that I haven't had a minute to blog - but as I sit down now to reflect on some of my favorite weddings of 2018, I'm really enjoying taking a minute to reflect. Sara and Matt's wedding was in the early spring, so trees were still waiting to bloom and things were a little chilly and windy. I loved their laid back nature and that their wedding really reflected their personalities so well! Those sparkly Keds were AMAZING!!
I am a huge fan of Haley Paige! and Sara looked just stunning in her Haley Paige gown. There were a lot of nerves leading up to the day - Sara and Matt are not the type of people who like being the center of attention. They did a first look, which is great to help ease anxious minds. It was such a sweet moment.
I also loved that their wedding party was made of their best friends and that Matt's side had grooms-girls! Once I found out that they all were in the band together in high school - I HAD to do an instrument photo. It wound up being one of my favorites of the day!!
My second photographer - Gabrielle Garland captured this great shot while I was going for a different angle!! The bonus of 2 photographers!!Even though Sara was really nervous - she walked herself down the aisle. Everyone was SO emotional - even us!! This is just another example of how a "First Look" can actually enhance "The Aisle Moment"
Waiting for her moment to walk down the aisle - such a huge moment and she walked on her own. So much courage. 
It was a sweet and simple ceremony where they wrote their own vows. They are friends first - which made hearing about their commitment even more sweet. To top it all off - the girl who set them on up to go out was the person who officiated their wedding!! I love this personal touch and see it more and more. 
Traditions at the Glen offers a private cocktail hour up in the bridal suite. It was such a nice way for everyone to take a breath and relax a bit together to let everything sink in.
Their reception was in the ballroom. There were so many sweet and thoughtful little details - one of my favorites was the extra place cards!!! LOL!! 
Gotta love Jaret's Stuffed Cupcakes!! (I'm always secretly excited when I see these bite-sized wonders at a wedding - YUM!!)
Gotta love The Magic Mirror - Exceptional Receptions with Jimmie Malone has the best in town! I love working with Jimmie - he's a true pro and also fun to talk to!! Not to mention he throws a great party! :D
