For SO long I have wanted to offer classes and thing have always been so crazy!! I've been planning since last winter and I am crazy excited about the courses I am going to offer!!!For Adults:**Please keep in mind that all classes are geared toward amateur/non-professional photographers. Professional mentorships available - contact Heather for more information**Photo Basics - an introduction to the basic principals of photography and how to get the shots you want to get! You’ll learn how to find the light, fill the frame and work with your kids to get real smiles and personality with any camera that you use. Phone cameras, point & shoots and DSLRs welcome. Bring your own camera & user manual and have fun! Saturday Feb 7, 9-10:30 OR Saturday March 7 - 9-10:30am - $75Intro to DSLR photography - learn to understand your DSLR camera and get out of auto mode. Basic principals of photography including aperture, ISO, depth offield and compos it on will be covered. For amateurs only - no pre/professionals please. Bring your own DSLR camera and manual for 3 hours of instruction and practice. Saturday Feb 21 9-noon OR Saturday March 21 9-noon - $150DIY Workshop - Pick Photo Basics or Intro to DSLR, find 6 friends and I will bring the workshop to you along with some yummy snacks! We can pick a date and meet at your home to learn and practice. Contact Heather to make arrangements and for pricing.Through Your Lens - This 8 week class will go over basics of photography, composition and technique. 2 weeks of instruction and 5 weeks of assignments with critiques ending in a “Gallery Show” of student’s favorite pieces open to friends, family and the public. Bring your own camera - point and shoot,smartphone or DSLRs welcome. Printing of show iimages included in class price. 4 Saturdays - 12-3pm. 2/7, 2/21, 3/7, 3/21. Gallery show 4/3 - tentative. Max 8 participants $400For the Kiddos:Snap-Dragons - an introduction to photography for kids ages 8-12. This 8 week class will go over basics of photography, composition and technique weeks of instruction and 5 weeks of assignments with critiques ending in a “Gallery Show” of their favorite pieces open to friends, family and the public. Bring your own camera - point and shoot, smart phone or DSLRs welcome. Printing of show images included in class price. Wednesdays February 4 - March 25th - 6 - 7:30pm. Gallery show 4/3 - tentative Max 8 participants $300Through Your Lens - Teens - an introduction to photography for teensages 13-17.
