Nick & Julianne's Ventosa Vineyards Wedding | Finger Lakes wedding photographer
Weddings are not easy. They are typically stressful to plan and push a lot of emotional hot-buttons. But weddings in 2020 are a new level of stressful. Holy Moly. Forget seating chart planning and your aunt being pissed that she got seated with your neighbor. My couples are literally battling their way to their wedding days. Hurdling scheduling changes, closing venues, health restrictions, travel bans…you know. We are all dealing with a lot during this crazy time.
Nick and Julianne have been riding this crazy rollercoaster since March. Even up until 3 (three!!) days before the wedding things were still changing as their venue was working to follow guidelines, but still, help them have a great event. Finally, the day arrived and guess what? It was supposed to rain. ALL. DAY. Oh, and did I mention my second shooter’s kids got sick last minute, so Dan (my husband) filled in last minute.
As usual - I was proven totally wrong. The day was amazing. It didn’t rain all day but did rain enough for it to be magical. Everyone was very respectful of social distancing and COVID. The venue was amazing. The food was delish! And a 4-hour reception with no dancing FLEW by!! So here are a few of my favorites. For the whole experience - watch the slideshow full screen. :)
